Disneyland

I realize I may be way behind the times with this post but I wanted to let you know just in case anyone else is in my boat. In 2009, Disneyland and Disney World will let you into their park for free on your Birthday. It is part of their campaign, "What will you celebrate?"
There are a few catches you should be aware of so you do not just show up on your special day.
  • You have to sign up in advance on their website. They will send you an e-mail that you will have to print out and take to the park with you.
  • You have to bring ID with you. You have to show a certified copy of your birth certificate if you are not old enough of have a driver's license.
  • You have to actually go on your birthday. This is sad for me as my birthday is on October 31st and we have New Life's annual Pumpkin Patch on that day. (Of course the Pumpkin Patch is super fun so I am not too sad =)
  • For more information or to sign your family up visit: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/disneyland/index?name=CelebrationsDLRFreeOnYourBirthdayPage
I visited Disneyland a month ago with my mother and my sister for my sister's birthday. We really had a lot of fun. My sister especially had fun because she was given a special birthday button. She loved the attention of EVERYONE wishing her "Happy Birthday". I can only imagine how much more fun it would have been if she had free admission. If you have the chance, you might want to check it out and visit Disneyland on your special day too.
